Patrick Chengzhi Wang is a documentary cinematographer, producer, photographer, and wildlife investigator with over eight years of experience across Asia. Currently based in Bangkok, Thailand, he holds a Thai journalist visa and a work permit.
He collaborates with international broadcasters and media organizations on documentary and editorial content. His work has been broadcast and featured on the BBC, National Geographic, PBS, Sky HISTORY, Bloomberg, and the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
Via SOPA Images, his editorial photos have been published by the BBC, Bloomberg, The Guardian, Financial Times, El País, The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, Forbes, and SBS.
He has also led development projects for Americares, UNICEF, the World Health Organization, and the Asian Development Bank.

Currently, he works as an investigator with Freeland and Agent C Wildlife Initiative. In tandem with Agent C, he also runs the wildlife investigative program FIELD RAW.

In 2023, he was mentored by the Magnum photographer Gueorgui Pinkhassov.
